FWCCU RECEIVES MULTIPLE “DFW FAVORITES” AWARDS

Fort Worth City Credit Union (FWCCU) proudly announces its recent achievement as the recipient of the Silver Award for "DFW's Favorite Credit Union" in the Star-Telegram DFW Favorites competition. This recognition serves as a testament to FWCCU's steadfast dedication to delivering unparalleled financial services and personalized member experiences. In addition to the Silver Award for "DFW's Favorite Credit Union," FWCCU was also honored with the Silver Award in the Customer Service Category and the Bronze Award in the Real Estate - Home Mortgage Category.

Hosted by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram newspaper, DFW Favorites is a prestigious annual program that celebrates excellence across various business sectors in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Through engaging residents and consumers, the competition allows participants to cast their votes for their preferred choices in different categories, including banking and financial services.

94th ANNUAL MEETING RECAP

Our 94th Annual Business Meeting and Member Appreciation Event was held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 5:30 pm, at Will Rogers Exhibit Hall. 756 members and guests attended the event. There were 10 exhibitor booths, dogs available for adoption from Fort Worth Animal Care and Control, a display MedStar ambulance, a display FWFD firetruck, a display SWAT vehicle, a display vehicle provided by Five Star Ford, and clowns. Entertainment was provided by the North Crowley Silver Stars Drill Team and Timbercreek High School Band Drumline, and dinner was provided by Coburns Catering. $5,000 in door prizes was given away at the end of the evening. We are thankful for the membership and loyalty of our members, and look forward to another year of serving you. Mark your calendars and save the date for our 95th Annual Meeting, scheduled for May 1, 2025.

VIEWPOINT PROJECT

Fort Worth City Credit Union was featured on Viewpoint, a critically acclaimed educational television show hosted by actor Dennis Quaid. The three-minute segment aired January 8 - 29 during Peak (7:00 am-11:45 am) and Prime (6:00 pm-11:45 pm) time on CNN, CNN Headline News, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business Network, TLC, Travel, and Discovery. The segment will also air on 170+ participating Public Television stations throughout the U.S., and continuing as interstitial programming throughout 2024.

The episode focused on the benefits of banking with local credit union’s like FWCCU and how credit unions are founded on the principles of improving our member's financial well-being while giving back to the communities where our members live and work.
